Club Weeknight Seeding Day Rules

Coach Cards: 

  • Physical Coach Cards are required for all games

  • Each individual on the bench must place their physical card on the score table for the duration of the game

    • Without a Coach Card, you are not permitted to be on the bench at any point during the game

    • Failure to provide at least 1 coach with a Coach Card, will result in a forfeit

Game Formats: 

  • Two 22-minute runtime halves

    • Clock stoppages are for timeouts only

  • One 1-minute timeout per team in the first half.

  • Two 1-minute timeouts per team in the second half.

  • Three-minute halftime break

Game Rules: 

  • A full-court press is allowed for all age groups

    • No press allowed after a 20 point lead

  • Zone defence is allowed in U15 and higher

Foul Rules: 

  • 10 Team Fouls per half 

    • Every bonus foul results in 2 free throws, each worth 1 point. 

  • 5 Personal Fouls per game

  • Shooting fouls result in 2 or 3 free throws (inside or outside the three-point line)

Overtime Rules: 

  • Overtime will start right away with a jump ball

  • The first team to score a point (foul shot, field goal, or 3-point shot) will win.

  • No timeouts are allowed in overtime (OT).

  • Team and personal fouls carry over into overtime from the second half. 

    • The limit for team fouls in overtime is 10 (the same as in the 2nd half)
