Information for the Athletes

There is a $20 tryout fee + ABA membership ($25) + 3% credit card fees.  

All athletes must register for tryouts using this link:

See the below steps for athletes to complete online registration

Please use the following list to see which towns are included in your zone:

ASG Zone by Community

Athletes physical mailing address must reside within the boundaries of the Zone of play - no exceptions
 
 
Online Registration

Please use the following steps to complete Athlete Tryout Registration:

Step 1: Login with you RAMP credentials with your username and password

If you are new to the registration system, select “Create One Here” below the box

Step 2: Select the “Participant” option in the orange box

Step 3: In the "Choose a Season" drop down select 2022-23 ABA Membership Year

Step 4: Choose the Family member you wish to register, ensure that all the information is completed and correct Or create new, adding in all the information required

Step 5: In the "Choose a Division" drop down select either the 14U Girls/Boys options 

Step 6: The option of “Alberta Summer Games tryouts” package will appear, select the box

Step 7: Membership Fees - this page outlines the membership fees for Alberta Basketball - please insert the credit card information that will be charged

Step 8: Have a Parent/Guardian review, sign the waivers, and agree that the Age of Majority Parent/Guardian

Step 9: Upload/review the photo and government issued ID

Please note this photo will be used for membership card
Step 10: Complete or Review the Parent/Guardian/Emergency Contact Information

Please ensure this is a different email address then the one listed in the Participant Registration Information
There is an option on the bottom of the page to add a second parents contact information for this registrant
Step 11: Complete the remaining questions

Step 12: Review the information that you had input

Step 13: Complete the remaining payment information
