Q: Who is your favourite basketball player?
A: Devin Booker. He is the perfect scorer and is only getting better.
Q: Which basketball team do you root for?
A: I enjoy watching all teams, however my favorites to watch are the Celtics, Warriors, Suns, and Mavericks. I think they play great team basketball.
Q: Who has the best basketball uniforms of any college or pro team you like?
A: Denver Nuggets. The alternative ones.
Q: What is your favourite basketball movie?
A: The Last Dance. Michael Jordan is the greatest athlete of all time and it’s awesome to see how hard he worked at all times.
Q: What is your favourite candy?
A: I like starbursts
Q: What is your favourite ice cream?
A: Black cherry
Q: Do you have a hobby?
A: I love playing all kinds of sports and all sorts of physical activities and I love to compete whenever I can.
Q: Do you have a favourite pregame meal before you play a basketball game?
A: Chicken wraps
Q: What is your favourite basketball play?
A: I love the 3 pointer because I’m not very high flying so alley oops don’t work for me haha.
Q: What do you love most about the game of basketball?
A: I love that hard work can influence an entire game.
Q: Do you have a favourite memory from when you played in the CMBA?
A: When we won our first tournament.
Q: What is the best piece of advice you received from a coach?
A: Just go out and play as hard as you can.
Q: What is one piece of advice you would give to younger players?
A: The only thing you can control is how hard you work and your attitude about the work.
Q: What basketball skill is your greatest strength?
A: I think my shooting ability.
Q: What was your biggest failure or adversity you have faced in the game, and how did you over come it?
A: When I was 13 I broke my arm and after I was really out of shape and all my friends and teammates progressed while I went backwards. I had to work hard to get back into shape by running and working out everyday and I shot 500 shots on my driveway every day. Eventually I caught up and surpassed them.
Q: Are you a vocal leader on the court or do you lead by example? Or both?
A: I mostly lead by example and when I feel it is necessary to be vocal I’m happy to do so.
Q: How do you find positive ways to communicate with your teammates? To build team culture.
A: I think an important part is to be friends off the court and then to trust each other enough that if he says something that I don’t like and I will still listen and vice versa.
Q: What is something interesting about you that no one really knows?
A: I have a freckle on my eyeball.
Q: What is your favourite class or subject in University?
A: Neuroscience. I like learning about how the brain works
Q: What are your plans after you graduate?
A: My plan is to get into medical school and become a doctor.
Q: How are you training during the Covid-19 pandemic? To prepare for the next season.
A: I have been running, dribbling in my basement, shooting on the hoops outside my house. I have been eating healthy as well.
